Put down the Ozempic and Pick up ChatGPT
Who needs a wellness coach when you have AI?
I decided I want to lose weight.
Of course, I want all the other things we are supposed to want instead of weight-loss. I want to feel endorphins, save money on meal planning, lower my risk of diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and increase my energy level. My body is craving movement, but my brain is craving for my body to look hot naked.
Instead of being sucked in by the latest wave of weight-loss influencers peddling their services as underqualified “coaches” or the allure of semaglutide and tirzepatide (aka, Ozempic, Mounjaro, and all the other friend in their GLP-1 circle), I realized these coaches are no better than AI. There is nothing a coach can do that I cannot research or put together myself; I’m just overwhelmed by the planning process and want to get straight to the doing process.
Maybe you are overwhelmed as well and unfamiliar with how AI could be a tool in your wellness journey. In this series, I will discussed the prompts and results I received in my endeavor to use AI to design a weight-loss plan, a meal plan, and a fitness plan. Overall, I will show you how to use it as a tool to motivate yourself, keep yourself on track, and dispel the temptation to use risky behaviors.
